McMyco Power 5 contains extracts from five of the most extraordinary mushrooms nature has to offer. These medicinal mushrooms have traditionally been used for centuries (sometimes even thousands of years) for various purposes. And now, after all these years, it turns out that the enthusiasm of our ancestors was more than justified. We simply cannot ignore the extraordinary effects of mushrooms anymore!
McMyco Power 5 contains the following five powerful mushrooms:
Chaga (Nonotus Obliquus) is nicknamed the black gold. This mushroom does especially well in cold regions. Hence, you find it mainly in areas like Canada, Siberia and northern Europe. From the outside, this black fungus looks like bandaged wood but inside it shines.
Cordyceps is a mushroom with perhaps the most interesting history. Indeed, it originally grew only on the backs of insects, hence its nickname caterpillar killer. Fortunately, a specific variety, Cordyceps Militaris, can also be grown on a natural nutrient medium. We also use that one in the vegan friendly Power 5 formula.
Lion's Mane, or Hericium Erinaceus, is a unique medicinal mushroom. Also known as wig mushroom, this white fungus has been nicknamed nature's nutrient for the neurons worldwide. This mushroom is also often used as a supplement during microdosing.
Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum) has been used in China for over 2,000 years. They know it there as Lingzhi and mushroom of immortality. An unusual nickname for an unusual fungus! Mycologists from all over the world praise this brownish-red mushroom that should definitely not be missing from our Power 5 formula.
Turkey Tail (Trametes/Coriolus Versicolor) is a mushroom with almost legendary status. In China and Japan, they have been big fans of this fungus for centuries. The main reason is the presence of PSK and PSP, to which some special properties are linked. Turkey Tail is also gaining attention in Europe, you may know it from the film Fantastic Fungi, for example.
For extra effectiveness, we have enriched the capsules with Vitamin C and Zinc. Both Vitamin C and Zinc support the immune system and the body's defences.
