Kratom Leaves are the leaves of the Mitragyna Speciosa plant. This Asian tree species is versatile and has a rich history. A characteristic feature of Kratom is that its effects can be both stimulating and relaxing, with the effect depending on the dose. The main active ingredient is mitragynine. This is a present alkaloid characteristic of Kratom. For Indian Elements Kratom Leaves, the Green Maeng Da variety is used.

Kratom (Mitragyna Speciosa) is a plant that from traditionally was mainly used in Southeast Asia. For example, its leaves were (and still are) chewed by farmers to make the long and hard days in the countryside more bearable. Fun fact: the first Western researcher to describe the use of the plant was Dutchman Pieter W. Korthals.
In Western Europe and North America, Kratom is now very popular. Especially the diversity of effects makes the plant special. These effects differ per dose. A small amount can provide an energy boost, whereas a high dose brings about a calming and relaxing effect. The main active ingredient responsible for the effects is the alkaloid mitragynine. This is a plant-specific substance not found in any other plant.
Indian Elements Kratom Leaves are derived from the Green Maeng Da variety. The Maeng Da is known as the most effective Kratom strain. "Green" refers to the green vein of the leaf. Kratom can be used in several ways, including making tea from it. The herb contains no nicotine.
