Amnesia Haze was bred in the Netherlands in the 1990s by Hy-Pro Seeds under the name "Amnesia". However, she goes by many different names. You might know her as the original Amnesia, as Amnesia Haze, Champagne Haze, The Bomb, Ultra Haze, or something completely different. One thing everyone agrees on, at least, is the enormous power of this sativa-dominant strain.

The biggest disadvantage of sativas, like Amnesia, is that their flowering can be quite long. On average, it takes 11 - 12 weeks before you can east, but some phenotypes take as long as 20 weeks until they flower! That's just too long for most home growers. Moreover, she can get quite tall. And that's another problem indoor growers generally can't get away with.

But now there is Amnesia Haze Automatic to solve these problems. She provides the same euphoric high and has a spicy, sweet flavour, just like the original Amnesia. However, her growing time is much shorter and she does not grow as tall. This auto strain is therefore suitable for beginners and experienced growers alike.

Indoors, she needs about 80-85 days from seed to harvest to mature. During that time, she can grow quite large for an autoflowering variety, reaching 50-100cm tall. That's a clear reference to her sativa genes. These often produce tall plants, large, thin leaves and long buds.

Like the original Amnesia, Amnesia Haze Automatic grows vigorously. It produces abundant yields of haze-like, high-quality buds. Outdoors, it produces up to 180g/plant and indoors up to 400g/m². This makes her definitely one of the most productive autoflowering varieties. She likes to be well fed, but be careful not to overfeed. Haze varieties are in fact generally very sensitive to nutrients.
