- Ingredients: Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum)
The use of this miraculous succulent goes back centuries and was mainly used in local, traditional medicine as a medicine for improving mood. Kanna also gives a calming, euphoric and relaxing feeling at a certain dose. This wonder plant was mostly praised by the Hottentots, a people originating from the present-day Western Cape province of South Africa, for its miraculous psychoactive effects. Mesembrime is an alkaloid present in Sceletium tortuosum. This alkaloid has similar effects to many anti-depressant drugs. This probably explains the signs of happiness among the Hottentots after using the Kanna.
Obviously, the strength of the effects also depends on the method of use. Tea is a common form, with a dosage of 700 - 900 mg being common with this kanna. But Kanna is also used in other ways. Chewing like the original South African users is also a possibility. You can experiment wonderfully with Kanna, the strength is up to you and it does not cause hallucinations.
Sale and use not permitted under 18 years of age. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use in case of high or low blood pressure, heart and/or lung problems, diabetes, pregnancy, use of medicines, drugs or alcohol. Kanna (Sceletium toruosum) acts as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). Do not combine with other SSRIs (Seroxat, Prozac) or MAOIs. If so, always consult your doctor first and read the leaflet of your medication to avoid health risks. Also, do not use Kanna if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
